About me
Hello! I am Savannah Perez, an MBA student at Johns Hopkins University. I graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management, and later obtained a Certificate in Accounting from Anne Arundel Community College.
I was born, raised, and currently reside in Odenton, Maryland. A few months ago, my husband, Joaquin and I, bought a home in my childhood neighborhood, where we hope to start our own family and stay for as long as my husband's military career will let us.
I currently work in accounting but have prior experience in accounts payable, banking, and various customer service roles in my early career years.
This portfolio serves to document my experiences as I work towards transforming livability challenges facing my community into opportunities for building a more livable future. I believe I can offer a unique viewpoint as I have lived in both "new" (Piney Orchard) and "old" (King's Heights) Odenton. My living experiences in the two parts are vastly different, but I believe blending the two together can create a more livable Odenton.
